My
physical well-being is at a 7, my spiritual well-being is at a 5, and my psychological
well-being is a 5 for unit 3. Now I
would score myself a 10 in physical well-being, a 7 in my spiritual well-being
and a 9 in my psychological well-being.
The scores have all gone up because of my ability to relax and
focus. I have been able to get outside
more which always helps with each aspect of my health. I need to find a way to carry this feeling
through winter when it’s dreary and too cold to get outside. I have been able to meet most of my
goals. I have been hiking at least once
a week and run at least twice to which I have added a 16 mile bike ride on the
days I don’t run. I have been out in
nature a lot lately which has helped me feel better spiritually. Psychologically I have accomplished my goals
and have gotten A’s in my three classes this term and have two left until I graduate. I will take the momentum from this success
and take it to the last two classes.
I
feel that I have really grown as a person and better understand what I need to
do to feel better in my life. Integral
health is a new concept to me and I feel that I have a better idea of what it
takes to achieve that. I have offered
some of the techniques I have learned to my family and friends as well as the
books that we have used. I did have some
difficulties with some of the exercises but I believe with time that I will be
able to do them as I continue to improve the meditation techniques. I am much more at peace and calmer when I am
at work so the night seems to go smoother for me and I don’t sweat the small
stuff as much. This class has helped me
to find a healthier center to my life and I have been able to give that back to
the patients at work.
